As I watch the 2023 NBA draft this evening, I can't help but think of the importance of choosing the key people for your own team.
Whether it's your business partner, your life partner, vendors, consultants, mentors, coaches, accountants, lawyers, financial planners, or investors, each choice has a material impact on your long term success.
Besides just potential for greatness, there needs to be shared vision, purpose, values, and common definition of what success looks like for the pieces to fit and to chase after the big wins.
